At a glance

  • Private touring in Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen
  • Fjord chapter: Bergen, Flåm and Nærøyfjord
  • Two overnight sea crossings between capitals
  • Evening archipelago dinner cruise in Stockholm

This thirteen-day private Scandinavia journey connects four Nordic capitals with one focused fjord chapter in Western Norway. You begin in Helsinki with a calm arrival, private touring, Porvoo, and an archipelago experience before crossing the Baltic Sea overnight to Stockholm. The first part of the route is built around design, water, old towns, and soft city pacing, with private transfers and port logistics handled throughout.

Stockholm continues the rhythm with a gentle arrival, spa time, private city touring, and an evening archipelago dinner cruise. Then the journey shifts from capitals to scenery as you fly to Bergen and move into Norway’s fjord country. The route through Bergen, Flåm, Nærøyfjord, and Oslo gives the journey its dramatic middle: waterfalls, mountain roads, fjord water, and the option to include the Flåm Railway if timing allows.

The final stretch returns to the sea. After Oslo, you board the overnight ferry to Copenhagen, giving the itinerary a second Nordic crossing and a smoother finish than another airport transfer. Copenhagen closes the journey with architecture, canals, design, food, and a final night that feels polished but not overfilled. Departure is handled privately the next morning.

Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01
1

Day 1 — Arrival in Helsinki, Helsinki Airport

Arrival in Helsinki is kept intentionally easy. A private airport transfer brings you into the city for check-in and a soft first evening, with time to rest, walk near the waterfront, or settle into dinner at your own pace. The route begins without forced sightseeing after a travel day.

  • Private airport transfer
  • Hotel check-in support
  • Free evening in Helsinki
  • Optional dinner reservation support

Day 02

Day 2 — Helsinki + Porvoo + Nordic contrast

Today combines two different sides of Southern Finland. In Helsinki, your private guide introduces the capital through architecture, design, key districts, and its coastal rhythm. Later, the day softens in Porvoo, where cobbled streets, wooden houses, and riverside views give the route a more historic Finnish layer.

  • Private Helsinki city touring
  • Private local guide
  • Private car to and from Porvoo
  • Guided Porvoo visit
  • Time for lunch in Porvoo
Architecture in central Helsinki, Finland
Day 03
3

Day 3 — Helsinki archipelago + island stop + sea air

This day gives the Finland section its water chapter. After a private transfer to the marina, you head into the Helsinki archipelago for a RIB or similar sea experience with an island stop, snacks, and fresh coastal air. It adds movement and contrast without making the early part of the journey feel too intense.

  • Private hotel-to-marina transfer
  • Helsinki archipelago RIB or boat experience
  • Island stop
  • Outdoor snack lunch
  • Return transfer to Helsinki

Day 04

Day 4 — Helsinki leisure + overnight ferry to Stockholm

The morning stays open for rest, shopping, museums, or a short optional activity. In the afternoon, you transfer to the port and board the overnight ferry to Stockholm. This crossing is part of the Nordic story, not filler transport: a slower sea transition between two capitals.

  • Free morning in Helsinki
  • Private transfer to Helsinki port
  • Overnight ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm
  • Private ferry cabin accommodation
  • Optional cabin upgrade
Day 05
5

Day 5 — Arrival in Stockholm + spa time

You arrive in Stockholm in the morning and transfer privately to your hotel. The rest of the day is left deliberately soft, with time for lunch, check-in, a spa visit, or gentle city wandering. After the overnight sailing, this slower arrival helps Stockholm feel composed rather than rushed.

  • Private port transfer in Stockholm
  • Hotel check-in support
  • Flexible afternoon
  • Spa visit or leisure time
  • Optional dinner reservation support
Day 06
6

Day 6 — Stockholm private tour + archipelago dinner cruise

Stockholm works best when seen from both land and water. Your private city tour introduces the capital through Old Town, design, waterfront areas, and selected local context. In the evening, the route returns to the water with an archipelago dinner cruise.

  • Private Stockholm city tour
  • Old Town and selected city highlights
  • Free afternoon
  • Evening archipelago dinner cruise
  • Dinner cruise reservation and timing coordination

Day 7 — Stockholm to Bergen + Norway begins

Today is a travel day with purpose. After breakfast, you transfer privately to the airport for your included flight to Bergen. On arrival, you are met and taken to your hotel, followed by a short orientation or easy evening walk so Bergen feels like a soft entry into Western Norway.

  • Private airport transfer in Stockholm
  • Stockholm to Bergen flight
  • Private arrival transfer in Bergen
  • Hotel check-in
  • Light Bergen orientation or easy evening walk
Day 08

Day 8 — Bergen to Flåm + waterfalls + fjord corridor

This is where the route moves from Nordic capitals into Norwegian scenery. You leave Bergen by private vehicle and travel towards Flåm through mountain roads, waterfalls, valleys, and fjord-side stops. Depending on timing and season, the route can include Tvindefossen, Gudvangen, the Stalheim area, or Stegastein.

  • Private scenic transfer from Bergen to Flåm
  • Selected scenic stops en route
  • Waterfalls, fjord viewpoints, and mountain scenery
  • Arrival in Flåm
  • Dinner at leisure

Day 09
9

Day 9 — Nærøyfjord + optional Flåm Railway + Oslo transfer

This is the fullest day of the journey, so it is planned with care. The strongest version starts with a morning fjord programme, usually built around the Nærøyfjord cruise or cruise-based routing. The Flåm Railway can be added if timings remain comfortable, before the route continues onward to Oslo for an evening arrival.

  • Morning fjord programme
  • Nærøyfjord cruise or cruise-based routing
  • Optional Flåm Railway version
  • Onward transfer towards Oslo
  • Evening arrival in Oslo
  • Timing buffers for the longest route day

Day 10
10

Day 10 — Oslo private city day + calm capital rhythm

After the fjord transition, Oslo brings the trip back into city rhythm. Your private tour is kept focused and well-paced, followed by free afternoon time and dinner arrangements if wanted. This day works as a calmer capital chapter before the final sea crossing.

  • Private Oslo city tour
  • Local guide
  • Key architecture, waterfront, museum, or neighbourhood focus
  • Free afternoon
  • Dinner reservation support on request
Day 11
11

Day 11 — Oslo leisure + overnight ferry to Copenhagen

The day remains flexible until the late afternoon port transfer. You board the overnight ferry to Copenhagen, giving the journey a second sea crossing and a clean transition from Norway to Denmark. It is a scenic Nordic passage rather than simple transport.

  • Free time in Oslo
  • Private transfer to Oslo port
  • Overnight ferry from Oslo to Copenhagen
  • Private ferry cabin accommodation
  • Optional cabin upgrade

Day 12 — Copenhagen arrival + design, canals, and final evening

You arrive in Copenhagen in the morning and transfer privately to your hotel. The final full day is best built around the city’s polished side: architecture, design, food, canals, and enough room to move without overfilling the schedule. A canal boat upgrade or final dinner can be added depending on guest style.

  • Private arrival transfer in Copenhagen
  • Hotel check-in support
  • Private city exploration
  • Optional canal boat upgrade
  • Final dinner reservation support
